Mine was a shower cap I got when I was 13. I smiled, said thank you politely, then went to my room to try it on. It made me laugh so hard. In hindsight I guess it was a good gift after all if it made me laugh like a maniac. It could have been much worse though:

Worst Birthday Ever
Have you ever one of those moments when you've received a gift and it was so rubbish you had to take yourself off and have a good laugh about it? Usually these gifts come from great aunts or other family members you only see twice a year.
Mine was a shower cap I got when I was 13. I smiled, said thank you politely, then went to my room to try it on. It made me laugh so hard. In hindsight I guess it was a good gift after all if it made me laugh like a maniac. It could have been much worse though:

ReplyDeletelol! i could see me doing this to husband face...when I was about 14 I got a red cardigan comlete with stitched snowmen, bells, holly and the like from my dad. I actually looked up at him to see if it was a joke...it wasn't.
