Do you ever have those times when something creeps you out for no reason? For me it's toddlers dolled up for beauty pageants. They look like those creepy dolls you can buy only they're caked in hooker make up and neon Lycra. Urgh it's making me shudder just thinking about it.
I'm sure there's something that sends shivers down your spine too. Often it's an irrational feeling but sometimes, just sometimes, it's absolutely justified.

Those spuds know this can't be good!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever been to the movies and you want to yell at the screen? "Run away, little spuds, run away!!!"
ReplyDeleteI almost dare say that the parents creep me out more. Ugly (inside and out) middle aged moms trying to force their daughters to have the life they never had. Frankly, if I was one of those kids, I'd rather be crushed by a potato masher.
ReplyDelete@Dan Some bad shit's about to go down.
ReplyDelete@Tim I constantly comment on the actions of film characters and those spuds definitely need telling.
@ABFTS Having seen some of the UK pageant parents on a TV program, I can honestly say I've never felt more ashamed to be human than I did after seeing that!
I feel ashamed when I get home from work and you've dressed the dog up for a imaginary pageant. Poor dog.

How very, very dare you sir. It's so 'on like Donkey Kong' when you get home tonight Mark.
ReplyDeleteBring it!

I have to agree, makeup and toddlers creeps me out big time. With their overconfidence and phoney little smiles, no horror movie can match them! That potato masher certainly looks like something you'd see in a Inquisitor's dungeon -- no doubt!
ReplyDeleteHaha, It`s funny because it`s a potato smasher and they are potatoes.
ReplyDelete@Mark: Imagine if they were zombies as well. It would be truly terrifying.
ReplyDeleteMy masher drawing got a bit mashed up but it definitely adds to the general creepiness of the joke.
@Kristjan: Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
